“Before we started with Kendall, my daughter was almost completely nonspeaking. Since beginning therapy, she has started using more words and vocalizing much more frequently. Kendall has a special passion for working with autistic individuals and gestalt language processors like my daughter, and that passion shines through in everything she does”

She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders from Auburn University and earned her Master’s of Communication Disorders in Speech-Language Pathology from Alabama A&M.
She loves being able to work with children and make a positive impact in their lives.
In addition to being with her husband and two young children, she enjoys spending time with friends, serving at church, painting and cooking.

“Mrs. Rachel from the Speech Department at HPA has been absolutely amazing! At the end of the first-grade school year, the school informed us that our daughter was only at 30% mastery with her R sounds. We started working with Mrs. Rachel that summer, and by the time the school gave us her second-grade progress report in September, she scored at 80%!
Mrs. Rachel is so kind, sweet, and really makes kids feel comfortable. Most importantly, she builds their confidence!”

After several years of little improvement with other therapists, she was able to identify his issues and tailor a custom plan. His speech has dramatically improved, and his confidence in the classroom and with his peers has skyrocketed. Our family will be forever grateful for all her help!”
